I love this photo. I like how you are transported to another completely different place. It is not how you picture Africa even though is obvious. Some rules of photography are lines in the zebras ,symmetry and simplicity.

he doesn't use anything to zoom in the animals, he uses normal lenses and waits to the animals to get closer to him.

Great Black and White Photographers part 3

1.) What first caught your eye while looking at your photographers photos? Is there something in particular about their photos that made you want to choose them? Post the images with your writing.
There is many things I love about the photos. both of them are really interesting. They really make me wonder about the story behind them.

I smell the fresh air of the forest, touching my skin

I hear the people

I taste the pain 

I feel the cold wind 

I smell the smoke

I hear the explosion

I taste the good and bad of this picture

I feel confused about it.

1. What theme that we could take here at school could we do a series of these panels to place around the school?

 a theme that we could take here at school is sports.

2. Should we use phones only, or should we open it up to our regular cameras for those people that don't have camera phones?

I think we should use phones only because the photos are not going to look good together. The difference in quality is huge and one of the strongest things about the projects is using instagram filters. 
3. Where would you want to put the mural on campus?


 it depend on the theme of the photos.

I really like the simplicity picture because the subject is clear and there is nothing districting us in the background.
The other photo I like is the leading lines picture because there is lines all over the picture making it really interesting.
The only one that didn't work as well for me is the framing picture. I don't really see the frame.

What challenges did you encounter while trying to get the photos following the rules I set out for you?  sometimes it was hard to find an interesting subject and apply the rules.

i was thinking about finding a good subject, focusing and following all the photography rules.

2. What technical aspects of photography or the assignment in general (focus, framing, holding the camera, etc.) did you find yourself thinking about the most? Provide a specific example of what you did to do this correctly.

This time we applied  some rules and my photos look much better that the last time.

i think simplicity and rule of thirds will be the easiest to achieve.

The subject in this photo is the two girls drawing something. The background is clear and nice so is recognize the subject. I followed the rule pretty well.

in this picture the subject, the girl  is in the middle and the sides of the picture are balanced. in this one is also really easy to recognize the subject. This turned out pretty good and I followed the rule.

 lines

in this photo the lines of the flag  are leading us to the boy. The subject is not that easy to recognize in this photo. the colors in the flag, the person in the background and the distracting colors of the closet make this subject harder to recognize. 

 rule of thirds

tin this picture the girl is located in the side of the photo and we can clearly see that she is working in class. This turned out really different than I expected. the girl was moving and working on her project so the hand is blurred out. in my opinion the subject is clear but maybe not as it should be.

framing

in this photo the microscope is acting as a frame. The girl was supposed to be the subject  but in the picture is really blurry. So the subject is not as clear as it should be. But i followed the rule an that turned out good.
